Course Outline
This course covers the skills and knowledge required to select structural members for a timber framed domestic building up to and including two (2) storeys under the provisions of the NCC (BCA) and AS 1684 parts 2 and 4. The course provides a detailed insight into what needs to be considered when evaluating the plans, specifications and during the inspection of structural timber members for ceiling and roof framing, timber wall frames, timber stumps, floor bearers and joists. The course also focuses on the relevant bracing requirements for timber framed construction.
Offering more than just information, this is an interactive on-line course that is presented by a series of videos. All participants are required to complete an on-line assessment task before being awarded their certificate of completion.
A Certificate of Completion to confirm 4 CPD points will be provided on completion.4 CPD points on completion.
