Overview/Content
This course has been approved by the NSW Building Professionals Board as a recognised CPD Activity for Swimming Pool Inspectors, and A category Building Certifiers. The course is ideal for Swimming Pool Inspectors, Swimming Pool Compliance Officers and A category Building Certifiers as it aims to clarify and reinforce your understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the accredited certifier operating in NSW. In particular, we will cover the requirements relating to: • The significance of the Swimming Pools Act 1992, BP Act 2005, ICAC Act 1988 and Ombudsman Act 2005 to the Certifier • The functions of the E 1 Certifier • The requirements of the Accreditation scheme • The authorities conferred for the E 1 Certifier • The Code of Conduct (Schedule 4 of the accreditation scheme) • Agreements and payment • Requirements relating to the carrying out minor works • The aspects of inspection and client interaction • Record keeping The course will also include an assessment tasks which must be completed before being presented with your certificate.
