Introduction to Complying Development Certificates
Overview/Content
This course provides an introduction to the legal and ethical obligations of the Registered Certifier responsible for the issuing of a Complying Development Certificate in NSW. The course summarises the requirements of the:
1. Proposed Building and Development Certifiers Act 2018 and Regulations
2. Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and Regulation
as they relate to the issue of a CDC.
Please note that while this course contains information relevant to the roles and responsibilities of the Registered Certifier, completion of this course alone does not fulfill the mandatory CDC training requirements for accredited Certifiers as required by the NSW Fair Trading - Department of Customer Service.
